Astarly Terms of Use & End User License Agreement (EULA)

1. Accounts

You need an account for most activities on Astarly, including to purchase, access, or publish content. You are responsible for your account activity and keeping your password safe. You must provide accurate and up-to-date information, and not transfer or share your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an Astarly account and use community features. Do not create an account for a child. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials private.

2. Content Access and License

When you enroll in or purchase content, you receive a limited, non-transferable, non-commercial license to view that content on Astarly for personal educational use, unless we must remove it for legal or policy reasons.

Content is licensed, not sold. You may not share, resell, reproduce, or redistribute content unless expressly authorized in writing by Astarly. Lifetime access may be revoked if content must be disabled.

3. Payments, Credits & Refunds

iOS in-app purchases and subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID and processed by Apple. Apple’s terms, billing cycles, and refund rules apply for those purchases; requests about App Store charges should be directed to Apple Support.

Website purchases, refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund Policy and the offer shown before payment. Any more favorable refund promise made when you purchased remains applicable to that purchase. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these Terms.

4. Content and Behavior Rules

You may only use Astarly for lawful purposes. Do not post content or behave in a way that violates any law or intellectual property rights, or that is harmful, offensive, or misleading.

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts for violations. If you believe your rights are infringed, contact us at [email protected].

Moderation: Astarly uses automated and manual moderation, including AI systems, to detect, prevent, and remove objectionable or abusive content before or after publication. Decisions may be reviewed upon request at [email protected].

4.1 Community Guidelines & Moderation Policy

Astarly is a community of learners and mentors. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable or abusive content. You may not post or share material that is: offensive, threatening, harassing; sexually explicit or pornographic; promotes hate, violence, or discrimination; contains spam or intentionally misleading information.

Astarly uses automated checks and human review. Content may be held, refused or removed; checks can make mistakes and do not guarantee accuracy or safety. Report and block controls are available in the Feed. See the Community Guidelines for reporting and review.

We prioritize reports according to severity and review them as promptly as possible. Report immediate danger to local emergency services.

Violations may lead to immediate suspension or permanent account termination.

5. Your Content and Rights

You retain ownership of your submitted content (courses, posts, comments). By submitting, you grant Astarly a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, share, promote, and modify your content for platform and marketing purposes.

You represent that you have all necessary rights to your content. No compensation is owed for these uses.

6. Using Astarly at Your Own Risk

Content on Astarly is not reviewed for accuracy or legality. You rely on content at your own risk.

We are not responsible for interactions between users, or for any third-party links. Exercise caution when sharing personal information.

7. Astarly’s Rights

All rights, title, and interest in the Astarly platform, including its software, design, logos, and original content (except user-submitted content), belong to Astarly or its licensors.

Do not tamper with, copy, reverse engineer, or misuse the platform or our trademarks. Suggestions and feedback may be used without obligation.

8. Subscription Terms

Subscriptions, including website, Apple and Google purchases, renew under the terms shown before payment. Standalone courses and subscription access are separate products.

• Cancel before the renewal deadline shown by your billing provider. Cancellation and refunds are separate.
• Deleting the app or your Astarly account does not automatically cancel a store subscription.

9. Generative AI Terms

Astarly offers AI-powered features (“GenAI”). By using GenAI, you agree to:

• Use AI outputs for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes only.
• Not submit sensitive personal data as AI input.
• Not misuse, automate, or represent AI outputs as human unless allowed.
• Understand that AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and should not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

We do not use your personal data to train or fine-tune our AI without your consent. See the Privacy Policy for details.

10. Legal Terms

These Terms form a binding contract between you and Astarly.

Our platform and content are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astarly disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Astarly’s aggregate liability to you will not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amounts you paid to Astarly in the 12 months before the claim. This Section governs your relationship with Astarly; Apple’s Standard EULA may separately govern your right to run the iOS app.

You agree to indemnify Astarly against legal claims arising from your content or use of the Services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA (unless otherwise required by law).

11. Dispute Resolution

Contact [email protected] with the relevant facts so we can try to resolve a dispute. This does not prevent you from using a competent court, regulator or any mandatory consumer remedy.

These Terms do not incorporate a separate arbitration policy or require you to waive non-waivable consumer rights. Applicable mandatory protections in your place of residence remain available.

12. Updating These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Major changes will be communicated via email or site notice. Continued use of Astarly after changes means you accept the new Terms.
