Astarly Accessibility Statement
Last updated: November 5, 2025
Astarly is committed to digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
This statement describes our approach, standards, measures, known limitations, and ways to contact us about accessibility.
1. Overview
We aim to design and build our websites and apps to be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust (POUR).
2. Our commitment
We strive to meet or exceed accessibility standards and to remove barriers where feasible.
- Accessibility is part of our design system and review checklists.
- We prioritize issues that block access to core features (e.g., sign-up, purchase, learning content).
- We publish contact channels to report accessibility problems.
3. Standards & conformance
We target conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA for web content and apply platform guidance for native apps (Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Google Material Accessibility).
- Semantic HTML and ARIA where appropriate.
- Sufficient color contrast and focus visibility.
- Keyboard navigation and logical tab order.
- Meaningful labels, names, roles, and states.
- Text alternatives for non-text content.
4. Measures & practices
We employ organizational, design, and engineering measures to support accessibility.
- Design reviews and automated checks during development.
- Manual testing with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers (where feasible).
- Lint rules and CI checks for common accessibility issues.
- Continuous documentation and training for contributors.
5. Compatibility & limitations
We intend the Services to work with modern browsers and operating systems. Some older or highly customized environments may not be fully supported.
- Best experience on the latest versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
- Mobile apps require supported iOS/Android versions per store listings.
- Third-party content (e.g., embeds) may have accessibility limitations we do not control.
6. Assistive technologies
We aim to support a range of assistive technologies and platform features.
- Screen readers (e.g., VoiceOver, TalkBack).
- System text scaling and Dynamic Type.
- Reduced motion settings.
- Keyboard and switch control navigation.
7. Feedback & request assistance
If you experience an accessibility barrier, please tell us so we can investigate and remediate where possible.
- Describe the issue and the page/screen where it occurs.
- Include your device, OS, browser/app version, and any assistive tech used.
- Provide steps to reproduce and screenshots if available.
- We aim to respond to accessibility reports within 5 business days.
8. Enforcement & escalation
If we cannot resolve an issue to your satisfaction, we will provide information about alternative access or workarounds where feasible.
9. Continuous improvements
We periodically review our properties, fix defects, and track progress against accessibility objectives as part of our product roadmap.
