Astarly Refund Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

Refunds follow this policy, any more favorable terms promised at purchase, and mandatory consumer law. Immediate access alone does not eliminate a statutory right to a refund or withdrawal.

Where a purchase is processed by a third party (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play), that third party’s refund rules apply.

1. Overview

Refunds follow this policy, any more favorable terms promised at purchase, and mandatory consumer law. Immediate access alone does not eliminate a statutory right to a refund or withdrawal.

If your purchase was made through Apple App Store or Google Play, you must request a refund through the respective store. If you paid on our website, the request is handled by us and processed by Stripe on behalf of Astarly.

2. Purchases via Apple App Store / Google Play

For iOS in-app purchases, request a refund directly via Apple Support — Billing & Subscriptions. Apple determines eligibility and outcomes; we cannot override their decision.

For Google Play purchases, use Google Play’s refund process or contact [email protected] for assistance. The available route and eligibility depend on the purchase and Google’s rules; Astarly may handle requests where the store permits.

Website purchases, refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund Policy and the offer shown before payment. Any more favorable refund promise made when you purchased remains applicable to that purchase. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these Terms.

3. Card, Google Pay & Online Payments (Stripe)

For website purchases processed by Stripe (including cards and Google Pay as a Stripe-supported wallet), we may provide a refund only when the conditions in this policy are met.

Refunds are sent back to the original payment method only; we cannot refund to a different method or wallet.

  • Accidental duplicate charge (identical amount and product within a short interval).
  • Technical issue on our side that prevented you from accessing the service (confirmed by our logs).
  • Unauthorized transaction (we may request evidence, require credential reset and 2FA).
  • Refund request submitted within the stated time frame for the product or service.
  • We may refuse refunds where usage indicates substantial consumption of digital content.
  • Original Stripe processing fees may be non-refundable where permitted by law.

4. PayPal Payments

If you paid with PayPal on our website, refund eligibility follows this policy and PayPal’s terms.

Refunds are returned to the same PayPal account. If a PayPal dispute or claim is opened, our internal review pauses until PayPal resolves the case.

  • Abusive or false claims may lead to account restrictions and denial of future purchases.

5. Subscriptions & Trials

You can cancel a subscription at any time to prevent future billing. Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund.

If a free trial converts to a paid plan, charges begin at the end of the trial unless you cancel before conversion.

  • Pro-rata refunds are generally not offered once a billing period has started.
  • If we materially change or discontinue a paid feature mid-cycle, we may offer a partial credit or refund at our discretion.
  • Promotional or discounted plans are refundable only at the amount actually paid.

6. Eligibility for Refunds

  • The request is made within 14 days of purchase unless local law guarantees a longer mandatory period.
  • You have not substantially consumed, downloaded, or used the digital content beyond minimal evaluation.
  • There is a documented technical failure attributable to us, and you cooperated with troubleshooting.
  • For subscriptions, the request concerns the most recent charge and is made promptly after billing.
  • We may decline refunds in cases of abuse, excessive refund history, violations of our policies, or suspicious activity.
  • Where law grants you additional non-waivable rights, those rights prevail over this policy.

7. How to Request a Refund (Website Purchases)

If your purchase was made on our website (not via app stores), contact our billing team with the following:

  1. The email used for purchase and the receipt/charge ID.
  2. Date of purchase and the product/plan name.
  3. Reason for the request with any supporting screenshots or error messages.

8. Processing & Timelines

Once approved, we submit the refund to Stripe or PayPal as applicable. Your bank, card issuer, or PayPal controls how long it takes for funds to appear.

  • Stripe refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days; some banks can take longer.
  • PayPal refunds typically appear shortly after processing but may vary by funding source.
  • Original transaction fees may be non-refundable where permitted by law.
  • If a refund is issued, related access to paid features may be downgraded immediately.

9. Disputes, Chargebacks & Claims

If you dispute a charge with your bank (chargeback) or open a PayPal claim while a refund is in review, our review pauses. We will provide evidence of delivery and usage to the processor.

Submitting false, abusive, or duplicate disputes may lead to account restrictions, service suspension, and denial of future purchases.

10. Non-refundable Cases

  • Significant use or completion of a course/module, or download of the majority of included materials.
  • Expired requests made outside the stated time frames without a legal right to a refund.
  • One-time services already delivered (e.g., 1:1 consultations) unless performance failed on our side.
  • Bans or suspensions due to policy violations or abuse.
  • Where the law grants you additional rights, those rights prevail over this policy.

11. EU/UK Consumer Rights

For immediate digital content, a statutory withdrawal right is lost only where the legally required prior express consent and acknowledgement were obtained. This policy itself is not that consent. Rights concerning defective or undelivered content remain.
